Andy had always been very active a few years back and was massively into his rugby. Unfortunately beer, restaurant food and cigarettes were also involved. When he stopped the rugby playing unfortunately the bad habits continued.
When Andy started personal training with me the first thing we needed to do was ditch the bad habits. He was keen to feel fit and healthy again and wanted help with his nutrition.
Andy trains with me twice a week and we now do one session for strength and one session for fitness. He understands that he has to do cardio sessions himself to get the best results. When we looked at his nutrition we saw that he ate too infrequently and it was a massive meal when he did eat so we broke it down to eating 6 small portions throughout the day. He immediately felt a difference with more energy and having more ability to concentrate at work. Once the results started to take effect Andy hasn’t looked back.
“Andy is a fantastic chap to train – he definitely has the best form out of all my clients and actually has had people comment on his training in the gym. He is a determined guy but is realistic with his goals. Every so often work does to take over and he is working till the early hours and travelling around the country... But I know Andy will make his training his priority as soon as he has things back under control again – that is why he continues to have great results – consistent training and nutrition”
Andy’s statement: “I am one of Simon’s longest serving clients now (over three years now) and I do get asked why do I keep using him when I explain what he puts me through and asks me to do. Despite it being incredibly tough, Simon has a way of making training enjoyable and he is himself incredibly motivational. I now find the feeling of achievement when I walk out the gym or when I complete a monthly assessment and see how far I have progressed is now so rewarding and I know as a team we can achieve any goal we set our minds to”
